Eppig Brewing – 150 Year Legacy of German Brew Craft

Eppig Brewing is an award-winning craft brewery in San Diego County. The team resurrected the Eppig brewing legacy 150 years after the establishment of the family’s first brewery in Brooklyn, New York. Brothers Joseph and Leonhard Eppig established a brewing empire which excelled through the early 1900’s and discreetly endured the trials and tribulations of Prohibition.

We talk with founders/brewers Clayton LeBlanc and Nathan Stephens about the unique history of Eppig, dating back to Brooklyn in the 1900’s and the painstaking dedication to balance and quality control that earned them award after award.
